Very loud, original bells from the 1970s and 80s, that have been found stashed away in a warehouse in Boston and were once used on all the Hood and International ice cream trucks to signal to the kids that they were in the neighborhood. You could hear the bell through the closed windows, up on the 10th floor of large apartment complexes, and 5 streets away. Before the days of musical chimes being standard in all ice cream trucks, the industry once only had bells. Today, we have both, but those who still use a bell knows how it increases sales, because while chimes are great to echo through the neighborhood, the bell penetrates through the house walls much better and is much more easily heard. Also when you pull up to a little league game, it’s not nearly as disruptive to just go “ding ding” for 5 seconds than it is to play a tune and interrupt the ball game.
The bells we sell are WEATHERPROOF, LOUD, and ring continuously as long as you press the button in (button not included and available at any Auto Zone)
They are 12 volts so they run right off the truck power. No need for any inverter or generator.
Add a bell to your truck and watch your sales soar.
Please understand these are new old stock, or slightly used, as no one makes bells any longer. These were once fire bells used everywhere but fire codes have changed and now require buzzers with strobe lights.
