Here it is — the all new professional street vendor's musical chime box, CHIME TIME. Created by Joel Greenberg, a veteran street vendor of 40 years, this musical chime box contains all of the most popular street vending songs plus many never before used on an ice cream truck. The box has many songs for special occasions where you may vend, such as a children's birthday party, 4th of July events, weddings, Mitzvahs, military bases, Christmas parties and more. Joel realized the need to create a box where vendors could get everything they need all in one unit, after the company whose boxes he used to distribute shut down and couldn't always get parts to supply their boxes in a timely manner. And in doing so, he not only included the 53 single songs that are listed below, but he also put in a couple "auto play" channels for those who don't want to repeat the same one song over and over. When you select one of the auto play channels, the unit will play many songs in a row and automatically go from one song to the next. But, it's set up so it won't play Christmas music in July, and won't play "Happy Birthday" at a wedding. There is also a patriotic mix autoplay, and a Christmas autoplay for times when you want to use such songs. When you select any single song channel, it will play that song over and over.
Designed for simple operation, the unit features an ON/OFF toggle switch, and a song selector, which doubles as the volume knob. This is a knob and a push button in one. A 50 watt, 8 OHM power horn speaker (sold separately) connects to the back of the unit.
The music box comes with a reversible mounting bracket so you can mount it on the dashboard, under the dashboard, or on the truck wall. All connectors are included, as is the song list to let users know where it will appear on the dial. And it's made to be used with any 12 volt vehicle electrical system.
